In this section you have all the conditions of Estartit Rent a Boat for the reservation.
-The rental price includes taxes, mooring of the boat at the port of Estartit, daily cleaning service, all-risk insurance for the boat (with a 200 eur franchise at 500 euros, and compulsory civil liability insurance.
-The company may request a deposit of € 500 that will be returned to the customer at the end of the rental, provided there is no damage to the boat.
-In case of damage to the boat, the client must pay the company the amount of the franchise, and the insurance will not cover damages caused by bad faith or negligence.
- The boat owner must prove the delivery of the boat, with valid ID and nautical qualification.
- The rental schedule is from 10 to 19 hours from May to July, from 9.30 to 18.30 in August and from 10 to 18.00 in September. These schedules are designated based on sunrise and sunset. The extension of said schedule may be agreed with the company, and will have an additional cost. In any case, the boats must spend the night in the port of Estartit ..
-In case of bad weather that prevents navigation, the company will cancel departures for security reasons. In this case, customers may choose to change the departure for another day when the boat was available, to cancel the reservation fully recovering the payment and signal. If the company could not meet the reservation due to a breakdown in the reserved vessel or force majeure, having proved impossible to offer an alternative solution by its means, the advances paid must be returned to the client without it being able to claim anything else.
-The cancellation of reservations by the client will imply the loss of the payment and signal.
The fuel is not included in the price, so the customer must return the full tank or pay the fuel consumed.
-The client is obliged to comply with all current regulations, both safety and maritime traffic, to respect the maximum number of crew members, and to observe any advice or indication of safety in terms of navigation by the company.
-We have material for water sports such as kneeboard, water skiing, snorkeling, inflatable drag, etc., which we make available to our customers.
-It is necessary to take into account that the accident insurance for the passengers of the boat does not cover the personal damages caused by the practice of these sports, although the material is provided by the company, both when the boat is handled by the client as when the boat is handled by an employee of the company, and the client will exempt the company from any responsibility for any damage suffered in the practice of these activities.
-In case of cancellation by the client more than one month before the date of the reserved activity will charge 5% of the price of the activity for management costs.
-For cancellations between 30 and 7 days before the date of the activity, 10% of the amount of the activity will be charged.
-For cancellations between 7 and 3 days before the date of the activity, 25% of the amount of the activity will be charged.
-For cancellations with less than 48 hours from the date of the activity, the client must pay the full amount of the reserved activity.
