North Route Estartit-Costa Brava
In this section we will advise several activities in L'Estartit and navigation routes on the north coast of L'Estartit in the heart of the Costa Brava. We will indicate and advise of the best coves that you can navigate and enjoy the best
In Estartit we have a magnificent port, probably the most beautiful of the Costa Brava, overlooking the Rocamaure, a cliff 220 mtr from sea level.
I start with the northern route of Estartit- Costa Brava-Empuriabrava
We start sailing out of the port, we already have the views of the famous Medes Islands, a protected natural park through which you can navigate and moor the boat in one of the many buoys they have to enjoy a swim and its views. Without a doubt, renting a boat and navigating the Medes Islands is one of the best pleasures that Costa Brava offers.
Leaving the Medes Islands on the right, we go to Cala Pedrosa a beautiful cove that we have 15 minutes of navigation, yes, always paying for magnificent cliffs and passing through the tip of Molinet (a place to visit and see a sunset sun) Cala Calella, Punta Salinas and Cap D'Oltrera, we already find Cala Pedrosa that is protected by a small island. A magnificent cove where we can anchor and enjoy a good picnic or a bath.
We continue sailing and leave behind one of the best beaches of the Costa Brava. We enter the Golf de Morisca, a small gulf that will take us to the Foradada, it is a tunnel of about 15 meters that crosses the mountain where we can take some incredible photos with the turquoise background that is usually seen when we are crossing the Foradada mountain with Our boat
Once we have crossed Foradada mountain we arrive at Cala Ferriola, another beautiful cove with a small island that protects it, similar to Cala Pedrosa.
La Cala Ferriola is another magnificent cove that we have on the northern route of the Costa Brava, once we decide to continue sailing we will continue to pay for the cliffs and we can go through the three caves, but really as a cave it is only one, it costs a little locate since they are very hidden, we continue and enter the Cala Montgo, it is a gulf protected from the winds of Tramontana or garbi, this is an ideal place to spend all day for its breadth, there is also the possibility of leaving the boat moored in a buoy and disembark on the beach to eat in one of its restaurants.
The north route is the most suitable to rent a boat without a license and to enjoy this activity in Estartit
This route is one of my favorites since in one day you can do it all enjoying the navigation and a good bath.
